NB Article 7.2 states, if any appointing body does not exercise its power of appointment within one year of it first being granted or a nominated trustee appointment by it ceasing to be a trustee then the power of such body or authority to appoint a nominated trustee shall cease. All the above will have been vacant for over a year by the next AGM.

The day to day running of the site is carried out by the management group who are the Chair, V/Chair, and Secretary. (n.b. the Trust has not got a Treasurer, this job is done by an outsider.) The Glass Park Development Company, a Private Company Limited by Guarantee is run by Liz Jeffress and Martin Hilton. This is where communication breaks down as no one can talk about the "Company" in Trust the meetings!! To add to this, Trustees are not invited to Company meetings or given any report on Company matters.

New !! Just in the Company has now got a new secretary,  the son of ex Councillor Pat Mullany (Labour), Damian Mullany. His appointment to the board was back in February 04, but as yet the Trust has not been told !!

No Progress has been made since last year.

The pond has four plants that need to be checked (three of them can seriously damage the ecology of the pond if left uncontrolled). Nothing has been done!!

In June 05, following a complaint by residents, the District Auditor published a daming report on The Glass Park Company..

The AGM was once again a farce this year, with NO Chairman, NO Treasurer and NO accounts. Once again the election of officers was done in a smoke filled room.

We believe its high time an proper AGM was called so the whole village can select a new committee to run both the Trust and the Company.   

We have since found out that the Glass Park Development Company is sitting on £120,000 of 106 money and have been doing so for up to 5 years. Money that could be used for the much needed Sports Pavilion, so come on Liz and Martin let the people have the money who could make better use of it.
How two people can hold a village to ransom is beyond us.
